The Wall

While working on a Donovan Quinn album at a studio in Sacramento, I bonded with the bass player Jeff Moller. We spent long hours awaiting our turn at the wheel (we never actually did play during those sessions). In Jeff, I found a sympathetic partner willing to go down any dark hole and a fellow lover of dive bars and country music. With Raphi Gottesman on drums and Dominic East on pedal steel, we started a band from scratch. These first recordings are shaky and uncertain, but were personally refreshing.
