Mind of Christ
When an old friend and former co-worker at All Ears record store in Bloomington, Neil Blakemore, asked Odawas to score his short, Kill Yr TV, we were honored and up to the task. Side A of the tape is the film score and Side B is a couple of tracks that were heavily indebted to Chicago experimental band Zelinople. We were pals with Zelinople and I felt the little songs I wrote were infantilized by the potent slab of drone they laid down. Kill Yr TV screened at the Cannes Film Festival and it’s up to you to decide how much of that is because of the soundtrack.
